This ancient chapel was built in the late 19th century and radically renovated in 1898 with contributions from emigrants to the United States. The portal was built during this period.
The façade was subsequently rebuilt, and in 1930-31, the small church was illuminated by evocative frescoes by the painter Francesco Peccheneda.
